Drew Karpyshyn

Drew Karpyshyn (born July 28, 1971) is a Canadian video game scenario/scriptwriter and novelist.
Karpyshyn got his start as a game designer for Wizards of the Coast, and later joined video game company BioWare. He wrote the scenario and all dialogue for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and was one of the lead writers/planners on Jade Empire, as well as working on several games in the Baldur's Gate series. He has also written various Forgotten Realms and Star Wars novels, most recently Darth Bane: Rule of Two. Karpyshyn's next major project was the Xbox 360 exclusive RPG Mass Effect, which was released in November of 2007.
Karpyshyn lives in Edmonton, Alberta.
