[edit] About this template
This template was made as a result of the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disambiguation#Disambig and setindex meta-template.
Currently this template uses the CSS id "disambig" when "type=disambig" is set or no type is set. The reason is that that is the id that the javascript in MediaWiki:Common.js uses to determine if a page is a disambiguation page or not, so it knows when to display the {{disambig editintro}}. But I find that name too generic to be clear. Also that id is/was used to set the styles for the old disambig and setindex boxes. To keep the usage apart I intend to later change to use the id "disambigbox", which should only be used to trigger the javascript. While the looks should be determined solely by the dmbox CSS classes.
