Hi there. I have been a contributing editor on Wikipedia since November 11, 2006. After a few months, I dropped into reader-mode for the better part of a year, but started editing again in late 2007. Since then, I've become pretty intense about it, performing a few hundred edits a month since spring of 2008. On November 15, 2008, the community accepted me as an administrator. In my time on Wikipedia I have participated in a number of areas. At the moment my main focus as a new admin is on CAT:ADMINBACKLOG, and anything in there. In the past I've been very active in WikiProject Orphanage, de-orphaning the immense backlog of orphaned articles. I don't write many articles, which was an issue in my request for adminship, but I will be trying to round out my experience in that area.
I am currently an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher residing in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China.
Feel free to ask me any questions about any aspect of Wikipedia, since I spend about as much time browsing through pages in the Wikipedia namespace as I do editing. (The curse of curiosity!) I have recently taught myself a bunch about writing templates on Wikipedia, and I am willing to help in writing any that you might need. I like to think of myself as a generally helpful person. If you have any problem with any of my actions, it is not necessary to talk to me first. I polite note referencing the reversion is quite acceptable. I try to hold myself to the one-reversion rule, but I don't expect others to follow it.
